D\u00eda V will hold its second edition on Saturday 29 May 2027. The event offers a tour of the Ribera del Duero region, taking in five of its most iconic wineries \u2014 Tinto Pesquera, Protos, Ali\u00f3n, Pago de Carraovejas and Bodegas Emilio Moro \u2014 with a programme combining wine, fine dining and special activities at each stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the first edition, held in May 2025, the event returns two years later with a route-based format, in which each attendee chooses, at the time of purchase, the winery from which they will begin their tour. Tickets will go on sale from 1 December 2026 at<\/strong> eldiav.com<\/strong><\/a>, at a price of \u20ac220<\/strong>\u20ac (plus administration fees) per person<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five routes, five starting points<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Day V is organised into five routes. Each route starts at a different winery and, over the course of the day, takes in all five participating wineries: Tinto Pesquera, Protos, Ali\u00f3n, Pago de Carraovejas and Emilio Moro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When buying a ticket online, visitors can choose which winery to start their tour at. From there, an organised transport service takes them from one winery to the next, so there\u2019s no need to drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At each stop, participants will be able to tour the facilities and taste two wines from the winery. This format allows visitors to discover five different ways of interpreting the same region in a single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wine, fine dining and a special activity at every stop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At each winery, guests will taste two of its most iconic wines<\/strong>, the centrepiece of the experience. The wines will be accompanied by a propuesta gastron\u00f3mica de alto nivel<\/strong>, featuring Michelin-starred restaurants and locally sourced produce from the province of Valladolid. In addition, each of the five wineries will prepare a special event<\/strong> for those attending, so that each stop offers its own unique experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participating wineries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event is organised around the concept \u2018V Bodegas \u00b7 V Valores\u2019, which associates each winery with a specific value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pesquera Red Wine \u00b7 Authenticity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1975 by Alejandro Fern\u00e1ndez and Esperanza Rivera, Tinto Pesquera produced its first wines in a 16th-century stone wine press in Pesquera de Duero. Today, it is run by the second and third generations of the Fern\u00e1ndez Rivera family. For the winery, authenticity lies in that which remains recognisable over time. This is reflected in its commitment to Tempranillo, in a close relationship with the vineyard and in respect for traditional winemaking methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditional methods coexist with research and new tools, enabling the winery to evolve without losing its original identity. This same philosophy underpins its wine tourism: \u2018El Lagar\u2019, part of the Vindes\u00eda scheme, presents wine in an accessible and unpretentious way, through the landscape and the people involved in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protos \u00b7 Tradition and History<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Protos was founded in Pe\u00f1afiel in 1927 by 11 founders and will celebrate its centenary in 2027. Its history is closely linked to that of the region itself: in 1982, it granted the use of its \u2018Ribera Duero\u2019 brand so that the new designation of origin could be called Ribera del Duero. In 1929, its first two vintages were awarded the Grand Gold Medal at the Barcelona International Exhibition, the first major wine competition held in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beneath the medieval castle of Pe\u00f1afiel, more than 2 kilometres of underground cellars house the ageing of its wines. Next to them stands the winery designed by Pritzker Prize-winner Richard Rogers, which opened in 2008. True to its motto \u2018Be First\u2019, Protos combines tradition and innovation and is entering its second century with the aim of continuing to build on the legacy of its founders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ali\u00f3n \u00b7 Exploratory innovation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ali\u00f3n was founded in 1991 in Pe\u00f1afiel as the \u00c1lvarez family\u2019s second winery, as a project independent of Vega Sicilia, and its first vintage was released in 1995. Its hallmark \u2013 exploratory innovation \u2013 stems from a non-conformist outlook and a determination to forge a different path in the region. The winery studies how each terroir, each soil type and each vineyard expresses itself within a region shaped by the River Duero and various sedimentary processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This knowledge, enriched by the winegrowers\u2019 experience, continues in the winery, where the winemaking and ageing processes evolve to harmonise these differences. The result is a contemporary interpretation of the Ribera del Duero, guided by high standards, patience and honesty towards its origins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pago de Carraovejas \u00b7 Landscape and Diversity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pago de Carraovejas marks the origins of Alma Carraovejas. Founded in 1987 in Pe\u00f1afiel, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, the winery was born out of a dream to create a project capable of expressing the uniqueness of its surroundings through wine. Today, four decades on, that dream lives on in the Carraovejas Valley, a 220-hectare estate where landscape, viticulture and innovation coexist in harmony to express the essence of a unique region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diversity is found in its soils, in the different exposures, in the flora and fauna, and in the more than one hundred plots that make up its vineyard mosaic. The estate employs viticulture tailored to each plot and gravity-fed winemaking, so that each wine is \u2018a reflection of the Carraovejas Valley\u2019. This diversity also extends to the people behind the project, and their commitment involves caring for the environment and protecting what makes it unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emilio Moro \u00b7 Excellence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The history of Bodegas Emilio Moro began over a hundred years ago in Pesquera de Duero, born of a family\u2019s passion for wine and for the land where they grew up. It is a story that continues to unfold generation after generation, with the same enthusiasm as in the early days and an approach to wine based on three values: authenticity, approachability and legacy<\/strong>.

Authenticity, to remain true to their roots and their way of doing things. A sense of connection, because they believe that wine truly comes into its own when it is shared. And legacy, because everything they have inherited from those who came before them also provides the impetus to continue building the future.

This philosophy underpins every decision, from tending the vineyard and respecting nature\u2019s rhythms to crafting wines that express the character of their land. It is a way of understanding wine that they also share with their visitors, opening the doors of their home to reveal a story that continues to unfold and which, above all, deserves to be shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
